Moya Ridna, (Ukrainian for “my darling”, “my special one”), once a contemporary photography exhibition that evolved into a volunteer driven platform for cultural exchange. The platform proudly showcases a diverse range of works from artists working in various media. These artists either currently reside in Ukraine or have been forced out by the ongoing war perpetrated by Russia.

When our homeland is associated with images of destruction, we deliberately choose to omit such representation: none of the featured works addresses the present full scale-invasion directly. War depersonalises every individual experience; it disrupts every fragment of memory that we deem inviolable. The works and projects presented are, on the contrary, a radical expression of individual experience — an attempt to carry them with us through the tragedy of the present.

Through exhibitions, events, and collaborative endeavors, our mission is to cultivate empathy and recognition from the public driven by their enchantment and fascination with the work of both emerging and renowned Ukrainian artists across Ukraine and the world. We aim to protect and preserve Ukraine's modern visual art and heritage and its important contribution into the world's collective cultural treasury.
